Who can attend Beauty Expo Melbourne?
Beauty Expo Melbourne is a trade only exhibition and is therefore not open to the general public. Business identification is required.

What does my expo ticket give me access to?
Your expo pass gives you access to the exhibition floor both days of the event (24&25 March 2018). You'll have access to all the activity on the expo floor, over 200 sought after brands and an array of on floor features.

What's the new group ticket offer for expo tickets?
Register five people, pay for three! For each group of five people you book expo entry for at once, you will only pay for three people.

How do I buy an expo pass?
You can either purchase your ticket online using the expo website or purchase your expo ticket at the expo entry at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre during expo hours.

If this is the first time you are attending the expo, you will then need to provide a copy of your trade identification documentation with your name and salon name clearly outlined.

If you have attended the expo before, you should already be on our system so you should not be required to provide trade ID. However, we recommend you bring your business card with you as a precaution if you for some reason are not appearing on the system.

I've registered online but am not sure how to get my expo ticket or education ticket.
You will have received an email with a step-by-step guide assisting you to download your e-ticket, which you can print and bring along with you to gain entry into the Expo. There will be e-ticket holders at the expo entrance for you to place your folded badge in. You will be are required to wear your e-ticket to get into the exhibition halls.

I have purchased my ticket online, but what if I have forgotten/not received my ticket.

Are children permitted in the exhibition halls?
Children are permitted, however we strongly recommend that you find alternate care due to Health & Safety and as it is a business event. Children under 15 are free to enter. Children over 15 will need to purchase a valid ticket.

Can I bring a friend or guest?
Beauty Expo Melbourne is a trade only event and as such guests are not permitted. If you are a Salon Owner or Salon Manager, you may bring along 1 guest only at a cost of $40. Accompanying guest passes can be purchased onsite at the Expo (not available for pre purchase and allows guest access for 1 day only). If they work in the industry, they must book as per above.

How do I get personalised product recommedations emailed to me?
To received your very own personalised exhibitor product recommendations direct to your inbox, just make sure you register for the expo as early as possible and carefully select the product interests during your online registration. Based on the product interests you selected we match you with your very own unique set of product recommendations from exhibitors at the show. Your matches are not sponsored in any way.

Where can I park?
The Melbourne Exhibition Centre has 1,060 undercover parking spaces, managed by Wilson Parking Entrance, off Normanby Road. For all your transport information see Getting There.

I did not get to attend the show. Can I get a refund?
Tickets are non-refundable/non-transferable.

Can I purchase Education tickets without having an expo ticket?
You must purchase an expo ticket allowing you entry onto the expo floor in order to attend any educational sessions offered on the expo floor.

Forms of ID accepted include:

  • Signed letter from your manager on company letterhead stating your employment
  • Personalised business card (appointment cards do not qualify)
  • A copy of college enrolment form Certificate/diploma of a course you have complete (industry relevant)
  • Pay slip Invoice from a supplier including your salon name
  • Company cheque book / credit card

Forms of Student ID Accepted forms of trade ID include:

  • Current student card from your college valid for 2018
  • Personalised letter on your training institute's letterhead advising of the course you're currently studying
  • A transcript of courses or semesters already completed
  • A statement of enrolment certificate
  • If you are a TAFE student or your student card does not clearly identify you're studying a beauty or hair related course you will also be required to provide one of the above forms of identification.
  • Students are not permitted to bring guests to the expo.


Everyone needs to book an expo pass in order to attend the expo. Please complete the online form one per person (not per salon).

  • This is a trade only paid event, proof of ID is required.
  • If you have attended before, you will not need to supply business ID.
  • If we have your name in our database, it needs to match the same details you registered with last time, same first name, surname and email address. It will then pick up all your other contact details.
  • If you have never attended, you will need to provide business ID as noted below
